Our Commitment

Wyatt's Fireworks wants everyone in Kingfisher, Watonga, Geary and beyond to be able to find our stands, check our hours, and contact us without barriers. We work to make this website usable for people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, captions, or other assistive technology.

Our Standard

Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C. We review the site against these guidelines when we make updates. This statement describes our goal and the work we have done; it is not a third-party certification.

What We've Built In

  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • Semantic page structure with one main heading per page and headings in logical order, so screen readers can navigate by section.
  • Full keyboard access, with a clearly visible gold focus outline on links and buttons.
  • Text and background colors chosen for strong contrast.
  • Descriptive labels on form fields, buttons, maps and icon-only controls.
  • Decorative animations (like the hero fireworks and twinkling stars) are hidden from screen readers, pause when off-screen, and switch off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Pages that resize for phones, tablets and desktops, and that stay readable when zoomed to 200%.
  • Phone numbers and email addresses as tap-to-call and tap-to-email links.

Known Limitations

Some content comes from third parties we don't control, including embedded Google Maps and links to Google reviews and Facebook. Those services have their own accessibility features. If anything on those pages is hard to use, call us and we'll give you directions or information directly.

At Our Stands

If you need help at a stand, such as reading a product label or reaching an item, just let a staff member know. You can also call ahead at (580) 623-1100 and tell us what would make your visit easier.
